I was influenced by
sugary girl gangs, and cult imagery present in 90’s teen movies. The act of
obsession, first love, and of creating personal shrines to an almost religious
extent. The bright tacky portrayal of adolescence in Hollywood films, and the
strange characters that inhabit them.
