I wish I went to a girls boarding school...
Just a quick post with some pretty pictures. I love this editorial for Volt Magazine. I thought it fitted in nicely with my last post that was shamefully High school Musical orientated, so hopefully this will raise your opinions of me again! These photos just make me wish I was rich enough to have gone to a girls boarding school. I mean, I don't know about you, but my school experience did not look anything like this. Add a lot of Paul's Boutique handbags, and some Hollister hoodies and your getting closer. This also reminded me of some books I used to read when I was younger. Has anyone else read Mallory Towers, or the worst witch?

House Of Holland Resort 2013
Henry Holland's gone all stateside with his newest collection. Ive always been a little bit jealous of American High schools. I think it's just because they seem so different to schools we have here in the UK. Like you guys have all sorts of clubs and organisations and stuff, like debate club or cheer leading. (I'm just trying to recall clubs from TV shows or films right now) At my school we had literally two clubs. Gardening club, or choir. Not even the cool glee show choir kind, but like a religious church kind. So that was fun.
And whenever you see a 'jock' character on a show they re always wearing a baseball jacket/ cheer leading uniform. ALL THE TIME! Does that actually happen? Cuz after a few days that's gotta smell...
Ive also always wanted a locker. In any high school film there is always a shot filmed next to a row of lockers, and since we don't really have them over here, Ive always wanted one so I can recreate one of those movie scenes. Like Sharpay and Ryan here:

Giles Resort 2013
Here's a few of my favourite looks from Giles's Resort collection. How cool are those glasses? Ive been hunting around for a good pair of sunglasses lately- not that ill ever get a change to wear them, its been raining so much here there's been flood warnings. Thanks summer. But who knows maybe I could wear them to try to stop my mascara from streaming down my face. I love these cat eye glasses from Asos for £20 (sadly out of stock last time I checked) So maybe ill persuade myself to be optimistic enough to invest in them:

Grimesss.
Okay, so I'm going to admit I may have a bit of a girl crush on Claire Boucher. She's just so cool. I watched the music video for oblivion earlier, having not known what she looked like before, and I now just want to be extra creepy and make myself look as much like her as possible. I love her hair! Even though I'd never actually have the balls to bleach/ dye my own hair cool colours. I know I sound all gross and teenage girlish, but it just comes out sometimes. I cant control it! Also, I was stalkering on her wikipedia page and it says this- "In 2009, Boucher and her then-boyfriend from Tennessee constructed a 20-foot houseboat, named the "Velvet Glove Cast in Iron," with the intention to sail it down the Mississippi River from Minneapolis to New Orleans. The cargo included chickens, a typewriter, 20 pounds of potatoes and a gifted copy of Mark Twain's The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Boucher and her companion adopted the names "Varuschka" and "Zelda Xox" for the trip. Due to engine trouble and subsequent harassment from the Minnesota police, the journey was cut short and the houseboat and chickens were impounded. Their diet consisted of mainly potatoes." Now I don't know if this is actually true, but its so funny I don't even care.
Here's some pictures of her being all cute with amazing hair-

Cassie Ainsworth
Now for you American guys and gals reading this, you might only know skins through the American remake MTV made recently (which lets face it, was pretty bad) but please don't write it off based on this only, because the original -well the first two series at least, is sooo good! I thought I'd use this post as an opportunty to pay hommage to the dreamy Cassie ainsworth, my personal favourite character. ever.

Audrey Kawasaki
Audrey Kawasaki is one of those artists whose work just excites me. Her paintings are beautiful and delicate, but in a very eerie haunting way. I feel like the wispy girls are staring right back at me.

Were going on a bear hunt, were going to catch a big one...
These photos by Ann He look like the kind of shangri- la summer I could only dream of having. A fictitious cult of flower garlands and antique lacy slips.
